Bio

I am a theoretical astrophysicist working at the intersection between electromagnetic and gravitational wave astronomy. My work combines theoretical and data-driven modeling techniques to explore binary systems of stellar remnants—white dwarfs, neutron stars, and black holes—as tools for multi-messenger astronomy. The main aim of my research is to gain new insights into our Galaxy’s structure and evolutionary history via multi-messenger observations.

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (Garching, Germany) since September 2022. I am an active member of the LISA Consortium and one of the current chairs of the LISA Astrophysics working group. In 2024, I was appointed by ESA to be part of the LISA Science Team. While waiting for LISA, I explore the potential to learn more about these binaries from optical observations provided by the Gaia mission.

I am an advocate for promoting early-career scientists and one of the co-founders of the LISA early-career-scientists working group, which has been successfully active since 2019. I am also an art enthusiast and often like to view my work through the lens of art. You can find out more about my Research and my Art&Science projects.
